With the closure of the San Francisco Bay Bridge over Labor Day weekend, the Bay Area population is looking for fun ways to spend the long weekend that keep them away from The City. Napa has an amazing variety of shows, concerts, and general happenings through the weekend for any member of the family.

Come see the latest offering from the creators of The Complete History of America (abridged) and The Bible: The Complete Word of God (abridged). Opening on August 30^th at the Napa Valley Playhouse, The Complete History of Comedy (abridged) reenacts the full story of comedy from the Caveman to Chris Rock. For anyone who enjoys a great laugh, this is a must see! This entry of the Complete (abridged) series will run through September 15^th. After two Billboard Top 200 albums, Presley took a bit of a retreat from the music industry to recharge her creative batteries. Her most recent album, Storm & Grace, represents making peace with her past, coming to terms with her present, and returning to her roots. And those are some pretty good roots, given that two of her earliest musical memories are "obsessively listening to 45's in her bedroom at Graceland" and "her dad catching her singing into a hairbrush in front of a mirror at the age of three."
