Summer in the Napa Valley – During the Week

Avoid the weekend wine tasters and experience Napa during the week!

If you find yourself in Wine Country, and you are looking for something different, why not take in a movie? The St. Helena Library offers the Focus on Film series on Tuesdays. July’s focus: Mel Brooks. What better way to end your day than with any of the laugh-out-loud movies Mel Brooks has to offer?

The 1313 Main wine tasting lounge, located at 1313 Main Street in Napa, offers Winemaker Wednesday and Live Music Thursday. Get over the last bump of “Hump Day” with a tasting focused on the week’s featured winery on Winemaker Wednesday. Is there a better way to unwind than with some wine and local music? Let Live Music Thursday ease the tension of the week and take you into Friday with a new look at life.

If you are looking for something for the whole family, try the Napa Valley Museum. Tuesdays and Thursdays in July are Discovery Days for Kids and offer creative and educational activities such as paper making, a visit from the Napa Reptile Club, and collage making.

RockNapais holding two festivals this summer: July 18th & 19th as well as August 15th & 16th. Showcasing the Cherry Poppin’ Daddies in July and Blood, Sweat and Tears in August, RockNapa offers live music on two stages, food trucks, a beer garden, and local art displays. Truly, this is a brilliant way to wrap up your week.

Wednesdays frequently offer culinary classes at the Yountville location of NapaStyle. Expand your mushroom repertoire or pick up some simple late-summer recipes in this gourmet series.

Come visit the Napa Valley in the summer and experience life in a whole new way. We have something for everyone, visitors and locals alike, any time of year and any day of the week.
