Hotel Policies
Adults-only Property
Candlelight Inn Napa Valley was developed for an adult clientele seeking a tranquil atmosphere and is therefore unsuitable for children under 21 years old.
Check-In and Check-Out Time
Check-in is at 3:00 pm and check-out is before 11:00 am. Please notify us should you arrive early or after 9pm.
Guarantee Policy
All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card at the time of booking. A $100 security deposit will be held upon check in, for incidentals.
Deposits
Unless otherwise specified, a deposit consisting of the First Night’s Stay + Tax will be collected at the time of booking.
Cancellation / Modification Policy
Cancellation and modification policies depend on the hotel rate booked. Please check our rate policy for more information.
No Shows
If you do not cancel your reservation and do not show up, you forfeit the deposit of the First Night’s Stay + Tax. No-show reservations with a balance consisting of multiple nights will be released 24 hours after the arrival date.
Parking
Parking is free.
Pet Policy
We are not able to accommodate pets.
Breakfast
Enjoy complimentary full gourmet breakfast served at our first floor breakfast room from 8:30 am to 9:30 am.

9AM – 9PM
Concierge Hours
Our front desk is open every day from 7:30 am to 10:00 pm.
Occupancy and Local Tax
Transient Occupancy Tax of 15.195% is charged on the room rate only.
Guest Identification Required
Guests will be required to present a valid credit card and government issued identification at check-in that matches the guest name on the reservation. If you are using a company or other party’s credit card, an authorization form is required and must be on file at time of check-in.
Occupancy Policy
Each room can accommodate up to two people. Only with the exception of Creekside Cottage which can accommodate up to 3 adults when you add our Twin-Size Murphy Bed for an additional $50.
Smoke-Free
We are a smoke-free property. Smoking is not allowed in any guest room, deck, balcony, or public areas. If it is determined that a room is unusable due to smoke damage, a $300 fee will be collected.
Candles
Open-flame candles are not allowed. Should any damage occur, you are liable for the entire amount. Safe flame-free candles are available for purchase at the front desk to provide you with a wonderful candle-lit ambiance.
Accessibility
Our Garden View Room is Accessible. Please review all the accessibility features we offer and ensure it is requested at the time of reservation.
Housekeeping
Our housekeeping staff will enter daily for stay-over guests (more than one night) to freshen bathrooms, empty trash cans and make the bed. If the “Do Not Disturb” sign is on the door, the housekeeping staff will not enter the room. If any additional amenities are needed, please contact the front desk.
